Short version: this site stores your preferences in your browser and nothing else. No account, no cookies, no personal data collected.

01 · BROWSER STORAGE (LOCALSTORAGE)

This site stores your accessibility preferences and optional API key in your browser's localStorage. Nothing in localStorage is ever sent to our servers — it lives entirely on your device and persists until you clear your browser storage or use the Clear button in the relevant tool.

abd-contrastYour preferred contrast mode: normal, reduced, or high.

abd-textSizeYour preferred text size index: 0 (18px), 1 (22px), or 2 (26px).

abd-motionWhether reduced motion is active.

abd-focusWhether enhanced focus indicators are active.

abd-anthropic-keyYour Anthropic API key, if you choose to use the AI tools on the AI & Accessibility page. Stored only if you enter it.

02 · ANALYTICS

This site uses Vercel Analytics for anonymous, aggregate page-view data. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. The data available is limited to page views, referrers, and general geographic region (country level).

No advertising networks, tracking pixels, session recording, or third-party analytics scripts are used on this site.

03 · BYOK AI TOOLS

The AI & Accessibility page includes two optional tools that use the Anthropic API (Claude). These tools follow a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model:

Your key stays in your browser

The API key is stored in your browser's localStorage under abd-anthropic-key. It is never transmitted to our servers.

Requests go directly to Anthropic

When you use a BYOK tool, your browser sends the request directly to api.anthropic.com. We do not proxy, log, or have access to these requests.

The content you paste is not stored

Text or image URLs you submit to the tools are sent directly to the Anthropic API and are not retained by this site.

You can clear your key at any time

Use the Clear button in the key panel on the AI & Accessibility page, or clear your browser's localStorage directly.

Note: Anthropic's own data retention and usage policies apply to any content sent through their API. Review the Anthropic Privacy Policy for details.
